Here's to you, Dad. You have been a guiding light in the good and the bad. Your patience and your enduring guidance has helped me live my life more than you know. I thank you for being there when I most need a kind word of encouragement. And I am sorry for second guessing your wisdom.

You are my dad and I am proud to be your son.

I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Chicago this September. I was blow away by the beautiful old buildings in the downtown area. They are fairly enormous, gothic detailed, and in really nice condition for as old as they are. And luckily, the weather was perfect for a photo walk at night.

This is a shot from a wedding I shot last year. I wanted to thank Rebecca and Nathan for being such good sports all day. Their day was marked by inspired and humorous toasts, a fantastic live band, and an amazing location near Sebastopol. I wish them all the best in their future together.

I finally have a decent bike. It only took me ten years - literally - to replace my stolen bike. This is an original ad for my 'new' 1986 bike, the Trek 400 Elance.

Brandi and Pershing definitely have their own ways to enjoy life. They are truly unique individuals. Here they enjoy the breeze in their faces from the backseat of my old Mercedes diesel wagon.
